For the New Year, my friends and I took a bit of an expedition through the charred Rose Valley. We had picked up the hitchhiker in the second photo and he had showed us several rare spots in the valley, some of which are pictured.
Film Rolls
There was an old film camera my father had used back in the 80's when he was a professional photographer. I managed to find it after hearing countless stories about how much he loved it. It actually had a few rolls of 20+ year expired film roll. These oddly degraded and interesting looking photos are some of the results of this fun experiment.
The Thomas Fire EP1: Evacuation
Nothing has stricken the valley so intensely as the Thomas Fire has. These are a few images captured in response to the devastation.
The Arcade
These photos were taken on one of the last nights that one of my good friends was in town, so we went out to celebrate our maturing futures in the most juvenile ways, in an arcade.
LA Rubble
Seattle Photography Intensive
I spent a week in Seattle taking a photography intensive put on by Creative Live. The trip reinvigorated me to want to learn and keep pushing the art form. These are a few stills from just walking around and adoring my favorite city.
